I figured I would start out here explaining to people what Orthodontics is. Chances are if you found this site you already know, but I just wanted to keep everything clear for everybody in a quick introductory post.

Orthodontics corrects teeth alignment and bite. Often times braces are used to complete this, although with modern technology often times they are unnecessary. Orthodontia work is both to make you look better as well as for functional purposes to improve quality of life.

These are the people who take care of the teeth. Becoming an orthodontists require more education than virtually any other occupation in the United States. Orthodontists are credentialed Doctors and use the title Dr.
